Daily Devotional – 12/19/15 “If you happen to see tomorrow…”

I’m working on a Saturday so why not share a devotional. Why? Well, somebody may not make it to Sunday morning. Why should you praise God today? You might not make it to Sunday morning. Why should you praise God every day? You might not make it to Sunday morning. So, I simply stopped by to tell you; praise God right now while you’re on top of the dirt because it can change, quickly within the blink of an eye. Oh but if you just happen to wake up tomorrow, then your praise today will be extra timber stored up for your fire. If you happen to wake up tomorrow, then it’ll be more praise to add to yesterdays. If you happen to see tomorrow …

Oh, I know it’s the holidays but if you happen to see tomorrow; rejoice in the fact that you’re still alive. Yes, I know you’re not in the spirit, you haven’t even put up decorations, you can’t buy the ones you love what they want, you may have to work, you may not have food to cook or new clothes to wear but you might not make it to the holiday but if you happen to see tomorrow; that ought to be enough to know that God is going to work this thang out, in your favor. How do I know? Because He did it for me and that means He’ll do it for you too. Stop sitting around having a pity party for one because if you happen to see tomorrow, you defied the odds of the enemy one more time! I know it may be easier said than done but try it. Try smiling, try giving someone a hug, try laughing and try living. I may not know what the next moment holds but I know who holds the next moment and that alone is enough for me to want to try. You might not see tomorrow but if so happens you do; dance to let the world know you’re alive. Oh, if you happen to see tomorrow, exalt God because you’ll have a chance to make yesterday better. If you happen to see tomorrow …

If I see tomorrow
